Doors and Windows

While choosing paint colors and finishes for your home, we have to make sure we choose the right finish for the right material and at the right place. Using glossy paints on interior walls or using matt paints on the doors, windows or trims isn’t considered the best of choices as we have to keep in mind the usage as well as the overall look of the place.

We don’t open or close walls or ceilings but we use our doors and windows a lot while moving around in the house or by keeping the place ventilated. When we talk about them, it’s better to use colors that are in contrast with the wall colors as that will make them stand out. Choosing the same color as the walls will make the doors and windows blend in with the walls and won’t give a classy look. If you still want to go with the same color tones, it’s advised to go in a lighter tone from the wall color as it will make the room a little spacious to look as dark colors will help make a room look more closed together.
